Factory Restore - $100
Sometimes it is necessary to restore your computer to factory condition, whether you have gotten a really bad virus or have just spent a lot of time surfing the Internet and installing a lot of software. Over time your operating system will slow down, and your computer will slow down with it.
To do a factory restore, we will need to back up your data and locate all of the CDs that came with your computer and any CDs of programs that did not come from the factory, i.e. Microsoft Office, Photoshop, etc. If you have a large amount of non-factory programs, the cost may go up a bit. If you don't have all of your CDs, I may have the ones you need, and if not we can typically contact the manufacturer to find them.
In order to do a factory restore at this price, I will typically bring your computer to my office to do the initial installation of your operating system and software and restore your data. Then I will spend a few to several hours downloading and installing the latest security patches and Windows upgrades to keep your computer secure.
At this point, I will bring the computer back to your house, connect it with all of your peripherals, and sit with you to make sure that everything is working properly.
